During the last decade, process intensification (PI) concepts have been developed and reported. PI enables more flexible, compact and cost effective production processes. These have the potential to achieve very significant improvements in performances, energy usage and material efficiency, which will benefit your industry [ref. H2020-SPIRE].
We have invited international PI-experts to share their competence and methodology. They will present and discuss relevant examples. Our goal is to bring PI advantages to your company.
PI: Equipment design for optimal conditions in physical/chemical processes. Mostly focused toward the chemical and hydrometallurgy industry. The methodology is also highly applicable to metallurgy.
