Boyan holds a Ph.D. degree from University of Tokyo, Japan, and was trained at NTNU as a Postdoctoral researcher. She has broad interdisciplinary expertise composing of nanomaterials for electronic device (Master and Ph.D thesis work), non-destructive inspection and signal processing (electromagnetic and acoustic, 6 years experiences), artificial intelligence and deep learning methods for large sensor data (3 year experiences) and industrial project management (8 years of experiences). She is currently focused on deep learning methods applied to images, videos, point clouds, radar tomography, hyperspectral imaging data; nanosensor array based artificial olfactory signals; as well as time-series data (acoustics) for various applications.
Boyan is part of the Smart Instrumentation group in Teknova.
Boyan has been working in Teknova since 2010.
Boyan is working at Teknovas location in Grimstad.
