Researcher, Modelling and Simulation.
M.Sc. in physics from NTNU.
Master’s thesis focused on detecting patterns of motion by a theory based on optimal paths, with applications to automatic navigation and traffic safety.
Modelling and simulations of different physical processes.
General background within applied science.
Mads Fromreide holds a Bachelor’s degree in applied science from the University of Stavanger with main focus on applied and theoretical physics.
He finished his Master’s degree in physics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in May 2014. His Master’s thesis “Motion Prediction by Optimal Paths Through Disordered Landscapes” included testing of a new algorithm for detecting motion patterns. Through his education and thesis work, Mads has gained experience within applied and computational mathematics and physics.
Mads started working at Teknova in November 2014 and is part of the industrial mathematics team.
He is working at Teknovas location in Kristiansand and Grimstad.
